WARNINGS
Balancing Act Toys are CE certified for children aged 3 years and upwards (Balancing Act Boards 12 months and upwards).
Products may have some sharp edges that may present a hazard for small children.
Products may include small parts which may pose a choking hazard if ingested, and should ONLY be used under strict adult supervision.
All Balancing Act Toys are designed for gentle play, not to be thrown or dropped from a height.
Do NOT use as a teether, these products should NOT be bitten.
As our products are made from natural materials they are subject to wear and tear. Check regularly for signs of wear, ensure children do not put any loose pieces in their mouths to avoid choking hazards.
Only use toys in a suitably safe setting with adequate space.
ALWAYS supervise your children while they explore these toys.

Exposure to moisture or storage near a heat source may cause damage.
Can be cleaned regularly with a damp cloth and should always be wiped dry immediately.
Balancing Act Boards
Our Balancing Act Boards are based on the Waldorf approach, developing each child’s unique capacity and nurturing imagination. Suitable for children and adults (up to 220kg) for play, balance, fitness and fun, our Balancing Act Boards are CE certified for children aged 18 months+
They measure 90cm long and 33cm wide and are crafted from beechwood.
Available in either a natural finish or felt finish version, in a variety of colours.
Warnings
- Balancing Act Boards should only be used under adult supervision.
- Always use on a flat and level surface.
- Do not wear socks or slippery shoes on the Balancing Act Board, barefoot or non-slip shoes are best.
- Mind your fingers! Be aware of entrapment hazards, especially fingers at the edges of your Balancing Act Board. Instruct children to keep their fingers away from the edges to avoid injury.
- As our Balancing Act Boards are made from natural materials they are subject to wear and tear. Check your Balancing Act Board regularly for signs of wear, ensure children do not put and loose pieces in their mouths to avoid choking hazards.
- Corners and edges are subject to wear and tear and should be checked regularly, any loose pieces should be removed and any areas of concern may be addressed with localised sanding if necessary.
- Remove any loose fibres (from felt) regularly.
- Only use the Balancing Act Board in a suitably safe setting with adequate space.
- To avoid injury, never stand on the side of your Balancing Act Board.
- Do not jump or stamp on your Balancing Act Board.
Balancing Act Board Care and Maintenance
- Balancing Act Boards are designed for indoor use only.
- Exposure to moisture or storage near a heat source (e.g. radiator, stove) will cause damage.
- Felt may pile, this is normal with use.
- Place a mat or carpet under the Natural Balancing Act Board to protect both flooring and board from damage.
- Wood is a natural material and is influenced by environmental conditions, limit direct exposure to sunlight to avoid damage.
- Balancing Act Boards can be cleaned regularly with a damp cloth and should always be wiped dry immediately (for both safety and longevity of the product).
